I'm am a unique person. I love weather/storms, sightseeing and sunsets. If we take the time to actually pay attention and notice the beautiful creations/nature and skyscapes all around us, we will indeed know that the world is a very beautiful place.

I love to go on road trips, specifically out of town, to enjoy other cities, parks, and locations I've never been to to see what they have in store for me to enjoy. When the ocean is fog-free, I would go to the beach to breathe the fresh sea breeze and watch the sun set over the Pacific Ocean. It's a nice way to get refreshed and a good stress reducer.

I'm a Californian storm chaser! Unluckily, our area doesn't get much storms as the Midwest does. During the summer, just plain ol' sun and heat, nothing special. With a little bit of luck, a thunderstorm or two may drift into our area when the summer monsoonal rains arrive annually in the Southwest. But whenever the Bay Area does get pounded with storms, (even just a windstorm), my adrenaline gets pumped up and it's storm chasing time! The farthest that I've driven while storm chasing was about an hour or so, away from home. When I get more experienced, and if I have the money, I'd start going all out and chase long distances, whether it's to the Sierras (since this region does get a good amount of thunderstorms), or even out eastward to Arizona and beyond.

In the future, I hope to become an official storm chaser, chasing severe weather side by side with my buddies. How did my passion of wanting to be a storm chaser get started? It all started just a few years ago. I love to watch the Storm Chasers on T.V. on the Discovery Channel. Looking at all the severe weather conditions they endured, such as heavy rain, large hail, frequent lightning and tornadoes caught my eye. I now know my real passion: severe weather. Not only the strong storms that I want to see, but I want to travel around the Midwest. I love to travel/go on road trips as well so this is why I feel that being a storm chaser is perfect for me.
